Online Library Card Application temporarily unavailable
Wednesday, March 6th, 2024Online library card applications will be unavailable between March 11th and March 26th as we transition to a new library software system.
We will still be taking in-person library card applications during this time.
After our new software goes live, online card applications will return with a new webform that will allow us to process online applications more quickly!

Interlibrary Loan:
Our ILL services will not be available at this time. In addition to the changes here in our library, the State of Texas is transitioning to a new ILL system as well. We hope to have services back on by April.Voters Guides available now
Friday, February 16th, 2024The League of Women Voters of Wichita Falls Voters Guide for the 2024 Primary Election are now available at the Library while supplies last.
The Voters Guide is published and funded by the League of Women Voters of Wichita Falls (LWV-WF), through donations from League members, citizens of Wichita Falls, and residents of the Wichita Falls area. The LWV-WF is affiliated with the League of Women Voters of Texas and the League of Women Voters of the U.S., and is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that works to promote political responsibility through active informed participation of all citizens in their government. The league DOES NOT support NOR oppose any political party, candidate, or proposition. The Voters Guide is designed to convey factual information to help prepare citizens to cast informed votes.
Election Day is March 5th. Early voting runs February 20th through March 1st.

Thursday, February 8th, 2024Interlibrary loan is temporarily unavailable. We are updating our library systems! The state of Texas is also transitioning to a new Interlibrary Loan system. ILL will be unavailable while we get everything updated and moved over to the state's new system. We do not have an exact return date but we hope to reopen ILL requests in late spring or early summer.
