Library staff are happy to search for obituaries and articles for you, but please be patient! We receive many requests - several weeks may be required to complete the process. We usually e-mail obituaries and articles at no cost. If they have to be mailed though US mail, the cost is $1.00 per obituary/article. An invoice will be included. Please note: Many requests we receive are based on false hits from newspaper databases. Please be sure there is a sensible reason the obituary might be in a Wichita Falls newspaper. The Wichita Daily Times did not begin publishing until May 1907 - there are no obituaries prior to that date.
