Online Card Applications will be unavailable until March 26th while we transfer to a new database system.
- Please review Library Card FAQs before submitting a library card application.
- You will receive your card on your first visit to the library. Please allow 24-48 hours to process your application.
- To activate your card, you will need to present a photo ID at the Wichita Falls Public Library, 600 11th Street, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. The photo ID must reflect your current address or a separate proof of address will be required (such as a bill or piece of mail with applicant or guardian's name and current address).
- If you receive mail through a PO box or Commercial Mail Receiving Agency, a proof of address is required for both mailing and physical address.
- Minors must appear with a parent in order to activate a card.
- Non-residents of the City of Wichita Falls are required to pay $25.00 per year. Please note that Lakeside City is outside Wichita Falls city limits.
