This Youth Craft is a 3D Hot Air Balloon made from paper, yarn, and pipe cleaners!
Here is an instructional video for you to craft along with at home. You can provide your own supplies or use one of our craft kits - available free at the service desk while supplies last!
The City of Wichita Falls Public Library is hosting its 2nd Annual Touch-A-Truck event on October 2, 2021, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. A free interactive event, Touch-A-Truck will allow children the opportunity to climb on, learn about, and discover their favorite big trucks and vehicles such as police vehicles, construction trucks, ambulances, and more. Drivers and operators will be on hand to educate participants about their vehicles, assist in demonstrations, pose for photographs, and answer any questions.
Award winning bilingual author Mariana Llanos will be here at the Wichita Falls Public Library on Monday September 27th at 6pm to read and discuss her children's books!
We'll serve a light dinner at 5:30 before the program.
This event is FREE and open to ALL AGES.
